This was view looking towards Coffee Lake along our driveway if you take a look at it closely, you will see about half the lake was covered with a layer of water on top of the ice from the recent snow melt!Needless to say, it was kind of cool to see the fresh water, but it was short lived, as last night the wind blew hard, and the temperatures dropped to the low teens by this morning freezing everything solid again. :(
But it is still winter and now this weekend there is snow forecast for the Sunday and into Monday. oh yippee!
Really though it doesn't bother me that much. Hey it is still winter here in northern Minnesota, and it weather is always a topic of choice for many of us even though we can't do anything to change it, so we just deal with it!
