One of my favorite appliances after the coffee maker and bread machine,
is this trusty old waffle making iron!
When we have grandkids staying over night it is either sugar cereal (Lucky Charms or a knockoff) or Waffles for breakfast!
But tonight it was just the two of us and I felt like having some waffles for supper,
with of course some sausage links. It has been a while since we had waffles, and they tasted so
good as usual, and I make them from a scratch recipe in a Betty Crocker cookbook.
As a child we had waffles every so often for supper with 5 boys and one little girl, my mom
would have to stand by the waffle iron for a while cooking up these tasty treats.
So having breakfast food for supper as always been a treat!
